I was wishing this painting had more movement, then I realized that the drama in this work is really between the subjects and the viewers. Using my paintbrush, the only weapon I have, I am painting the viewer into the work. The Sumatran Tigers, the rainforest, my family and you and I, all of us are endangered. Together our decisions will determine which species survive and which of us do not.
Endangered. oil on canvas, 8 ½ ft X 14 ½ ft.
